How it all started...
New and Lively Hope Family Church was born out of a clear word from the Lord: “Build Me a house.” What began as New and Lively Hope Ministries was founded in August 2010 by Dr. April and Pastor Joe Griseta, who carried a deep burden to create a place where people could gather to worship God, grow in His Word, and be equipped to reach a lost and hurting world.
From the very beginning, the heart of the ministry was to raise up believers, release them into their calling, and cultivate a community grounded in both truth and the power of the Holy Spirit. What started as small gatherings in Port Richey, Florida, grew through relationship, outreach, and what they often called “friendship evangelism”—a genuine, relational approach to sharing the love of Christ.

Expanding the vision...
As the ministry developed, God faithfully led New and Lively Hope into a new home in Holiday, Florida, providing not only a building but a deeper foundation. Through seasons of both growth and challenge, the church remained anchored in obedience, relying on the Spirit’s strength to overcome opposition and remain steadfast in its mission.
New and Lively Hope has always been a prophetic and Spirit-led community, marked by a healthy balance of the Word and the Spirit. With a strong emphasis on discipleship, intercession, and healing, the ministry has been shaped in part by Dr. April’s counseling background and prophetic calling—bringing restoration, wisdom, and freedom to many.

Where we are headed...
In August 2022, a new chapter began as the ministry was prayerfully and intentionally entrusted to Pastors Brendan and Carol Doyle. Having served faithfully as associate pastors, they stepped into leadership with a fresh vision to expand the church’s evangelistic reach and deepen its connection to the community. With this transition came a renewed identity—New and Lively Hope Family Church—reflecting the heart of a house not just built on ministry, but on relationship, belonging, and spiritual family.
Today, the mission continues with the same foundation: to love God, love people, and raise up disciples who live out their faith both inside and outside the walls of the church. As the church looks to the future, it does so with confidence in God’s faithfulness and a sense that this next season will be marked by growth, impact, and increase.
The story of New and Lively Hope is one of obedience, perseverance, and enduring love—and it is still being written.
